The Murphys, a busy family of four from North Canton, Ohio, reached out to Ohio Garage Interiors (OGI) to upgrade their garage. While they had put a lot of care into the interior of their home, the garage had been neglected. Since it also served as the family’s main entry point into the house, they wanted it to feel just as inviting, organized, and clean as everywhere else.

Signature 2-Day Installation Process

Our team at Ohio Garage Interiors designed a customized solution to address all of the Murphys’ concerns, using a more intensive process than a standard epoxy floor. Our signature two-day installation ensured the garage floor was both functional and aesthetically stunning.

The first step was extensive surface preparation, which involved cleaning, grinding, and repairing the concrete to fill in cracks and pits and ensure a smooth, ready surface.

After prepping the floor, we applied a durable epoxy base coat that strengthens the concrete and serves as a strong foundation for the layers that follow.

High-quality polymer flakes add texture and visual appeal while increasing the floor's resistance to everyday wear and tear.

The final step was a polyaspartic clear coat — a protective top layer that adds durability, enhances gloss, delivers a low-slip finish ideal for families with young children, and resists stains for easy maintenance.
